Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a Client Specialist for the Business Insurance team in a hybrid role. You will service and retain a current book of business, market for renewals, and prepare documents for delivery while collaborating with the department manager.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, insurance knowledge, and the ability to manage tasks in a dynamic environment. The role supports growth with a robust benefits package and incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years knowledge of the commercial insurance industry, laws, products, coverage, and markets.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance company markets, binding authority, procedures and underwriting guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively service customers.
• Be a self-starter with good time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve and retain an existing book of business including marketing and placement of new and renewal accounts.
• Review and process policies, market accounts for renewal pricing, issue certificates of insurance from contracts; obtain quotes from carrier websites.
• Create proposals and prepare policies for delivery; perform day-to-day tasks as directed by the department manager.

A day in the life.

As our Client Specialist on the Business Insurance team, you'll be responsible for servicing and retaining an existing book of business which includes marketing and placement of new and renewal accounts. This would include review and processing of policies, marketing of accounts for competitive renewal pricing, issuing certificates of insurance after reviewing contracts; using insurance carrier websites to obtain online quotes for clients; creating proposals; preparing policies for delivery and other day-to-day tasks as directed by the department manager.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $49,000 to $91,300.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
