Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Client Solutions Manager – Show Organizer Event Logistics in a role that combines strategic planning with hands-on execution of live events. You will serve as the primary contact for clients, coordinating planning, budget, and on-site management to ensure flawless delivery.

Based in the NYC metro area with a hybrid schedule, you will travel to show sites as needed (25%–50%) and collaborate with internal teams to align on scope, invoicing, and post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

• Experience in event sales, account management, or project management in events.
• Strong customer service and client relationship management skills.
• Ability to learn and navigate event management, CRM, and project management systems.
• Experience managing multiple events, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) for planning and reporting.

Summary

The Client Solutions Manager – Show Organizer Event Logistics is responsible for providing clients with a well-rounded planning and service experience. You will be the lead point of contact for planning and execution of events, providing support, consultation, and high-level logistics planning. You will execute the event plan against client’s budget.

This position will support our Show Organizer group under our Growth (Sales) team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 3-4 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

• Kearny, NJ
• New York, NY

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Able to lead and manage events up to $1 million per event
• Works with Show Organizer clients to produce events once the business has been sold
• Manages client requirements, expectations, and scope changes per event
• Liaison between client and our Creative, Strategy, Sponsorships, Graphic Production, Operations, and other Freeman departments
• Travels to show location to manage event from move-in through move-out
• Responsible for accurate and timely invoicing to be sent to client
• Maintains knowledge of all products and service offerings and assists in upsell to existing clients beyond current contract
• Quotes prices and manages budgets
• Partners with Business Development and Client Relationship teams to renew client business
• Translates client requirements by working within internal systems to disseminate information to appropriate departments in a timely manner to ensure successful onsite execution
• May be primary producing lead or may be part of a team on the execution of events
• Responsible for maintaining and growing partnerships with facilities/venues
• Entertains clients as necessary

Education & Experience

Required

• 2+ years of experience in event sales, event account management, event project management, or a related event services environment
• Strong customer service, client relationship management, and organizational skills with the ability to support complex event programs
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate event management, CRM, project management, and other internal/external business systems
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple events, projects, and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams, for event planning, reporting, and client communications

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required

Travel Requirements

Travel 25% to 50%

• Salary range of $70,000 - $82,500 annually, based upon experience
• Eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% of the base salary
