Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is hiring a Client Services Technician to support sample receiving and kit building in our Phoenix area lab. You will assemble client kits, label shipments, and manage pickups, while maintaining accurate documentation and a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service. Training is provided; prior lab or shipping experience is a plus, with opportunities to grow in environmental science.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, shipping and warehouse experience preferred.
• Laboratory or environmental testing exposure is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble client sample kits per guidelines.
• Create shipping labels and manage outbound packages for on-time delivery.
• Maintain stock of supplies for kit demands.
• Keep areas clean and organized.
• Assist with office cleaning and upkeep.
• Drive to client sites to collect samples and drop off supplies.
• Receive samples and document properly.
• Unpack and repack coolers for shipment to labs.

Compensation:$17.00 per hour

Hours:Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Join us as a Client Services Technician, where you’ll put your love of science to work in the sample receiving department of our environmental testing laboratory. You’ll receive all the training you need to successfully take on this role and continue building an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace®.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble client sample kits according to guidelines and instructions.
• Create shipping labels using our shipping software and manage outbound packages to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain and stock supplies to meet client sample kit demands.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining the office.
• Drive to client offices and job sites to pick up samples and drop off supplies.
• Unload and receive client samples while maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Unpack and repack coolers for shipment to other labs.

Must be comfortable operating a company vehicle equipped with GPS/telematics tracking and inward- and outward-facing safety cameras (no audio recording).

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Excellent customer service skills with a strong preference towards candidates with previous customer service, shipping, or warehouse experience.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required. We’ll train you!
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office/warehouse setting, remain standing for long periods, work around strong odors, and wear required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves — all provided by Pace®)
