Client Services Specialist - Sign Projects

Signarama | Branding | Signs | Displays | Graphics | Vehicles

Overview:
Design, produce, and install high-quality signage while providing courteous and professional service to call-in and walk-in customers. Maintain a professional image of the Signarama brand at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Design and create various types of signs.
  2. Mask, weed, and apply vinyl to different substrates.
  3. Print, mount, trim, and finish digital graphics and signage.
  4. Use an X-Acto knife and ruler efficiently.
  5. Following standard safety precautions, properly load and operate a cold pressure laminator.
  6. Load vinyl and cut it on a plotter.
  7. Load media inks and produce quality prints from digital printing equipment.
  8. Move raw materials, sheets, and roll goods for manufacturing.
  9. Operate a vertical panel saw using standard safety procedures.
  10. Maintain machinery in good working order.
  11. Greet customers and answer phones professionally and knowledgeably.
  12. Accurately complete sign layout forms, price estimates, and invoices.
  13. Assist in managing and operating the store when necessary.
  14. Travel to different locations within the community to assess work areas, provide estimates, and install various types of signage.
  15. Apply vehicle and window graphics.
  16. Maintain a running inventory of all stock and supplies.
  17. Complete in-store training covering topics such as Front Counter Sales, Sign Product Training videos, Sign Production Techniques, Key Lines, and the Owner's Manual.
  18. Ensure the store remains organized, clean, and professional in appearance.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programs such as CorelDraw, Illustrator, Photoshop, Freehand, PageMaker, Publisher, or Quark Express is required.
- Knowledge of software, including SignLab, FlexiSIGN, CAS-Mate, Inspire, or Graphix Advantage, is a plus, as is experience in sign-making or digital printing.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to climb a ladder while lifting signs.
- Capability to retrieve various substrates from a substrate rack, including upper shelves.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to lift over 25 lbs.
