Job summary

Labcorp in Spokane Valley, WA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as a liaison between Labcorp, customers and patients, handling routine requests and providing accurate information.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ months of customer service experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Salesforce/LIS are beneficial. Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm with possible overtime and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ months of customer service experience.
  • Experience in a call center or patient/customer support environment preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between Labcorp, customers, and patients.
  • Resolve routine customer requests via inbound/outbound calls and the Internet.
  • Provide courteous, professional assistance following protocol procedures.
  • Qualify and establish inbound new customers for Labcorp products and services.
  • Research complex issues across multiple databases to aid resolution.
  • Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance in medical records and CRM data maintenance.
  • Support administrative tasks for medical records management and internal records.

PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Spokane Valley, WA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm overtime and rotating weekends may be required

Job Responsibilities
  • Act a liaison between Labcorp, the customer base and patients
  • Resolve routine customer requests with products or services via inbound, outbound calls, or the Internet
  • Speak with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using protocol procedures
  • Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of the solution
  • Provide additional customer education and information as needed
  • Qualify and establish inbound new customers requesting Labcorp's products and services
  • Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions
  • Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner
  • Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance
  • Perform administrative support for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and internal records to assure HIPAA compliance
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 3 months or more of customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year or more of contact center or call center experience
  • 6 months or more healthcare industry experience, such as a physician's office or a hospital
Additional Job Standards
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems
  • Possess a high level of professionalism and a strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Pay Range: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

  • Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
  • Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
