Job summary

PAML a Labcorp company is seeking a Courier to join our team in Renton, WA. The position handles pickup, transport, and delivery of medical specimens and lab supplies, using a company vehicle for routes. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, with overtime and rotating weekends possible.

You’ll provide excellent client service, work well independently or with a team, and maintain accurate records on handheld devices. Must be 21+, have a valid license, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• No experience or education required.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent; 6 months+ driver/courier experience beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Load supplies for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule.
• Deliver daily pickups to branch.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely.
• Operate company vehicle and follow traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage pickups.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for extra pickups.
• Assess traffic, routes, and weather conditions.

Job Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent 6 months or more previous driver/courier experience

Pay Range

$21.57 to $27.28 per hour plus 2nd shift Differential

Included with this position is a company vehicle that you will use for your assigned route. In addition, for only $125 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home nightly and having it available for personal use.
