Jobtailor in California is seeking a Grants Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of grants, support donors and nonprofit partners, and ensure compliant, data-driven grant operations.
You will lead due diligence, grant structuring, recipient status reviews, and reporting, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide training on grants systems and tools. A strong knowledge of nonprofit regulations and excellent communication skills are required.
• Manage the full lifecycle of standard and complex grants
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for donors, fund advisors, scholarship committees, students, nonprofit partners, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee due diligence, grant structuring, recipient status reviews, purpose reviews, documentation, and process controls
• Provide subject-matter expertise on grantmaking, scholarship, and nonprofit regulations
• Monitor and improve grant operations, workflows, and client experience
• Maintain grant data, records coding, and documentation; develop reports and data-driven insights
• Support grants management systems and technology through training, job aids, templates, and dashboards
• Escalate and resolve complex, sensitive, and time-sensitive donor and grantee matters
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Office of Philanthropy, Policy and Advocacy, Community Investment and Engagement, Impact & Outcomes, and other teams
• Provide training, coaching, and best-practice guidance to colleagues
• Analyze nonprofit partner and grant activity information to develop reports, charts, and insights
• Represent CCF with donors, nonprofit partners, community stakeholders, and external partners
Demonstrates expertise in grant management, including lifecycle oversight, compliance with nonprofit regulations, and data analysis for reporting. Proficient in utilizing advanced technology systems to enhance grant operations and improve stakeholder engagement.
