Job summary

ALTA CALIFORNIA REGIONAL CENTER INC is seeking a Client Services Manager in the Sacramento office to oversee a Children’s Unit serving clients aged 3-18 with developmental disabilities. You will ensure staff guide families to access and maintain assessed services, while training and evaluating team performance.

Requirements include a Master’s degree with 3+ years in a human service setting (or Bachelor’s with 5+ years) and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with three years of experience in a human service agency, preferably in developmental disabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in a human service agency, preferably in developmental disabilities.
• Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, requirements and policy standards.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Select, train, monitor, coach, manage and evaluate assigned staff.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and regional center policies.
• Review cases and documentation with Service Coordinators on a periodic basis.
• Participate in committees and training groups to educate on services for Clients.
• Provide emergency on-call support for assigned staff; contribute to Leadership Team work.
