Job summary

The Raben Group is seeking a Client Services Intern for Fall 2026. This paid internship runs roughly 14 weeks, requiring 20 hours per week at $19.00 per hour.

Interns will engage in research, support multiple practice areas, and assist with client deliverables while gaining hands-on policy and advocacy experience. You'll work with experienced professionals and learn about culture strategy, campaigns, government affairs, and strategic communications.

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program, or a graduate within the past 12 months.
  • Strong interest in public policy, advocacy, and social justice.
  • Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with research projects, data analysis, and report preparation for each practice area.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, note taking, and organizing documents.
  • Contribute to the development of client deliverables, such as presentations, memos, and briefs.
  • Conduct background research on policy issues, legislative developments, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate project logistics, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Support internal company initiatives, client events, and special projects as assigned.

Internship Details:
  • Pay: $19.00 Hourly
  • Hours: 20 hours per week

What We Do:

Our work spans four core practice areas, each designed to help clients create meaningful impact:

  • Culture Strategy and Organizational Design (CSOD): Strengthen organizations by aligning strategy, culture, and DEIJ initiatives to deliver measurable, sustainable results.
  • Issue Campaigns and Movement (IC): Build coalitions, amplify public awareness, and design campaigns that spark culture-shifting movements.
  • Government Affairs (GAPC): Leverage deep expertise and relationships across all levels of government to shape policy, advance legislation, and ensure diverse representation.
  • Strategic Communications (Comms): Craft and amplify narratives with tailored messaging and outreach across press, digital, and social platforms to maximize reach and impact.

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to our practice areas, assist with meaningful projects, and gain hands‑on experience working alongside experienced professionals. Requirements
What We Require:
  • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program, or a graduate within the past 12 months, preferably in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, Sociology, Organizational Psychology or a related field
  • Strong interests in public policy, advocacy, and social justice issues
  • Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Schedule:

This is a temporary position with a flexible schedule. Interns must be able to work at least 20 hours per week, with the majority of those hours worked during normal business hours. The internship duration will be approximately 14 weeks with the possibility of an extension based on performance and business needs. All hired interns must be physically present in a local Raben office at least twice per week.

COVID-19 Policy:

Regardless of work location, all staff of The Raben Group must show proof of having received an FDA authorized COVID-19 vaccination or a vaccination exemption. New employees must provide proof of full COVID‑19 vaccination or medical/religious exemption no later than their first day of employment.
