Griswold Home Care for Greater Newport Beach is seeking a dependable, organized individual for a part-time Client Services Coordinator role in Irvine, CA. The position blends office administration, caregiver recruiting, client services, and occasional hands-on caregiving.

You will support scheduling, onboarding, CRM data entry, and coordination between clients, families, and caregivers, with opportunities to grow into broader operations responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare, or related field preferred.
  • CNA certification preferred, but not required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day office and administrative responsibilities.
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in our home care CRM.
  • Assist with caregiver scheduling and staffing.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, families, and caregivers.
  • Assist with onboarding of new clients and caregivers.

Part-Time | Approximately 30 Hours per Week | $22–$25/Hour DOE | Irvine, CA

About the Position

Griswold Home Care for Greater Newport Beach is looking for a dependable, organized, and personable individual to join our growing office.

This is a unique position combining office administration, caregiver recruiting, client services, and occasional hands‑on caregiving. Most hours will typically be spent supporting office operations, recruiting, scheduling, and client services, with the flexibility to assist with direct client care when needed.

This may include helping support a new client start while we identify and transition to a permanent caregiver, assisting with an unexpected staffing need, or helping ensure continuity of care.

The position is expected to average approximately 30 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on agency needs and growth. The mix of office and field hours may vary from week to week.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with home care, senior care, healthcare, or related experience who enjoys working with people and is interested in developing experience on the operational side of a growing home care agency.

What You'll Do
Office & Client Services
  • Assist with day-to-day office and administrative responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain accurate information in our home care CRM

  • Assist with caregiver scheduling and staffing

  • Communicate professionally with clients, families, and caregivers

  • Assist with new client and caregiver onboarding

  • Help coordinate caregiver introductions and new client starts

  • Participate in occasional client visits and field activities

  • Maintain accurate and organized client and caregiver records

  • Provide general support to the Operations Manager

Caregiver Recruiting
  • Review and screen caregiver applicants

  • Conduct initial phone screens and caregiver interviews

  • Schedule interviews and follow up with qualified candidates

  • Assist applicants through the hiring and onboarding process

  • Help maintain an active pipeline of qualified caregivers

Client Care & Field Support
  • Provide occasional direct caregiving when needed

  • Help support new client starts until a permanent caregiver is identified

  • Provide occasional coverage for unexpected staffing needs

  • Assist with caregiver and client introductions

  • Observe and communicate relevant client needs to the office team

  • Help create continuity between the client, caregiver, and office

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Dependable, organized, and detail oriented

  • Professional, friendly, and comfortable interacting with clients and families

  • Comfortable interviewing and communicating with caregiver applicants

  • Able to work independently and take initiative

  • Comfortable with computers, email, and learning new software

  • Able to document information accurately and follow established processes

  • Flexible and willing to move between office and field responsibilities as needed

  • Comfortable working both in an office environment and in clients' homes

  • Available for occasional weekend or after-hours needs

  • Interested in learning and taking on greater responsibility as our office grows

Qualifications
  • Experience in home care, senior care, healthcare, or a related field preferred

  • Previous home care agency experience is highly desirable

  • Caregiving experience strongly preferred

  • CNA certification preferred, but not required

  • Basic computer skills required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to meet applicable caregiver employment and background requirements

Schedule

Approximately 30 hours per week, primarily during weekday business hours.

Some flexibility is required for occasional client care, new client starts, staffing needs, and weekend or after-hours situations.

The balance between office and caregiving responsibilities may vary from week to week. Additional hours may be available based on client needs and agency growth.

Compensation

$22–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
