The ideal candidate is a quick learner who is highly comfortable with technology, confident working in Excel, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This role offers significant hands-on training and exposure to many aspects of the business, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within financial services or wealth management.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily and periodic client reports, account summaries, presentations, and other financial materials.
  • Run reports detailing client positions, account activity, asset allocations, and investment information.
  • Compile and organize financial and investment data with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain Excel spreadsheets from scratch, utilizing formulas to organize, analyze, and present financial information.

  • Utilize investment and financial technology platforms, including Morningstar and proprietary internal systems.
  • Assist with investment-related reporting, including reviewing stocks, rankings, client holdings, and model recommendations.
  • Support office and workflow management while balancing multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Assist with client communications and ensure requests are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Learn and eventually support monthly FINRA compliance processes and related reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology and emerging tools to improve efficiency, reporting, communication, and workflow automation.
  • Handle additional administrative and operational projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Open to candidates with early-career professional experience or recent graduates with strong, substantive internship experience.
  • Prior experience or internships within financial services, wealth management, investment management, banking, accounting, or a related environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong Excel skills are essential, including the ability to create spreadsheets from scratch and confidently work with formulas.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting concepts, including AP/AR, reconciliations, debits, credits, and financial statements.
  • Advanced proficiency with modern workplace technology, including Microsoft OneNote, OneDrive, cloud-based systems, and collaboration tools.
  • Highly comfortable learning new software and navigating multiple technology platforms.
  • Interest in emerging technologies and AI tools that can improve productivity, reporting, and workflow efficiency.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Resourceful and able to independently locate information and solve problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly through hands-on training and adapt to changing priorities.
