Job summary

Silvercrest Asset Management Group is seeking a highly organized Client Associate to support a portfolio manager and client team with account administration and client service in New York. You will manage cash and securities transfers, maintain client records, and coordinate with custodians, accountants, and attorneys.

The role emphasizes strong follow-up and communication within a high-performing team, with a base salary range of $75,000–$85,000 and a discretionary bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or significant industry experience.
• Strong organizational skills with good follow up and communication.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio manager with client services, including cash/securities transfers and account info.
• Communicate with team and others on client-related matters.
• Organize client files and preserve client information and activity.
• Interface with client custodians, accountants, and attorneys.
• Maintain client information on internal systems such as APX, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ensure accuracy of security setup, cost basis, holdings, and other account information.
• Prepare new account paperwork and facilitate openings and funding.
• Review accounts for cash balances to cover fees and distributions.
• Maintain fund activity, NAV reporting, and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing client meeting materials.
• Meet and greet visiting clients and assist with miscellaneous needs.
• Support bill pay, payroll, tax payments, and cash monitoring.
