Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a Client Service Analyst in Chicago, IL to support the Shareholder Services team for SMA clients and financial advisors. This role serves as the primary contact for clients and sales channels, ensuring timely responses and top-tier service across territories.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and FINRA licenses (Series 7 and 63) or is prepared to obtain them within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client service environment within the financial services industry, preferably with Separately Managed Accounts and service to Financial Advisors.
• Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding leadership, time management, and relationship management skills.
• Keen attention to detail and high sense of urgency to meet client needs.
• Highly self-motivated with strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required (if not licensed, should be obtained within first 60 days on the job).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and sales channels across territories and client types.
• Support onboarding and respond to client inquiries for fund/portfolio information.
• Elevate service quality by managing inquiries, crises and adherence to SLAs.
• Manage client relationships and collaborate with the sales force to deliver high-quality service.
• Analyze issues and problem-solve independently and with the team.
• Coordinate with trading desks to relay status and optimize client activity.
• Contribute to value projects like asset development, retention, or automation initiatives.
• Partner with management to build scalable service models for SMA clients.
