Columbia Bank seeks a friendly, detail-oriented Teller to serve as the first contact for clients, handling deposits, withdrawals and related transactions on site in Bainbridge Island. You will balance cash, ensure accuracy and confidentiality, and build relationships by asking about financial needs and offering suitable bank products.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred. Bilingual candidates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, 1 year banking or customer service preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures and systems.
• Demonstrates accuracy in handling numbers and writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, check cashing) with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and handle cash with double custody as applicable.
• Interact with clients to identify needs and offer appropriate bank products and services.
• Refer customers to the appropriate business partner team to meet referral goals.
• Maintain compliance with Columbia Bank procedures and banking regulations.
