Job description

Job Title: Client Service Supervisor

Location: Queensbury

Reports To: Branch Manager

Classification: Full Time, Non Exempt

Pay Grade: NE 30 ($20.00 - $30.19 per hour)

Availability: Monday-Friday 8:15am-4:15pm, Rotational Saturday in Malta branch 8:15am-12:30pm

Position Summary:

In this role, you will embody and lead our IMAGINE culture by providing top-notch customer service, achieving sales goals, and supporting clients' financial needs. You will ensure professionalism in transactions, support team development, and uphold Pioneer’s vision of building strong client partnerships.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Provide exceptional service and solutions to clients.
  2. Accurately process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and money orders.
  3. Manage the branch cash supply and coordinate the proving process, preparing necessary reports.
  4. Detect potential fraudulent activities.
  5. Build and deepen client relationships through active listening and understanding their financial needs.
  6. Engage clients in a consultative manner to enhance their financial well-being.
  7. Lead by example in achieving sales goals and support coaching efforts.
  8. Monitor branch operations and compliance, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  9. Assist in managing work and vacation schedules for tellers.
  10. In the absence of the Branch Manager and Assistant, oversee all daily operations.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of retail banking experience required.
  • Previous supervisory or training experience preferred.
  • Two-year college degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Recent retail or teller experience preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales strongly preferred.
  • Must pass the NYS Notary Public exam within 3 months of starting, with the bank covering the exam fee.
