Touhy Animal Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to be the welcoming face of our hospital. You will manage appointments, patient flow, phone lines, and transactions while delivering compassionate service and accurate information about our services.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a customer service, reception, or client-facing role.
• Previous veterinary receptionist or healthcare-front desk experience preferred.
• Proficiency in managing a multi-line phone system and assisting in-person clients.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software, especially Pulse preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate, professional service in routine and emotionally sensitive situations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars.
• Ability to process payments and maintain financial records.
• Remain calm, professional and solution-oriented during busy periods.

Client Service Representative / Veterinary Receptionist

Park Ridge, IL

Touhy Animal Hospitalis seeking an outgoing Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative to serve as the welcoming face of our hospital. In this fast-paced role, you will create exceptional client experiences, build trust through compassionate service, manage appointments and daily patient flow, handle multi-line phones and in-person interactions, process transactions, and support clients with essential information about our services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a team-focused customer service environment. Polish speaking a plus!!!

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $17- $23 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a full-time or part-time position, with schedule needs Tuesdays 8a-5p, Thursdays 8am-7pm, Fridays 8am-5p and Saturday on rotation from 8am-12p .

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
