Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative at Veterinary Surgical Centers in Gaithersburg, MD. This full-time role runs Monday through Thursday, 8am–6pm, with no weekends, ensuring a smooth front desk experience for clients and their pets.

You will manage a busy reception, answer calls, schedule visits, enter client information, process payments, and keep records up to date while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service in a veterinary setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort with computers, scheduling software, and handling payments.
• Warm, caring presence and strong organization during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets at the front desk and help them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
• Answer a multi-line phone system with a friendly, professional, and efficient approach.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, follow up on missed visits, and enter new client information accurately.
• Keep clients updated on wait times and delays.
• Answer basic questions about pet care and routine procedures.
• Process invoices and payments, including cash, credit card, Scratchpay, and CareCredit.
• Relay phone, email, and fax messages promptly and keep client records up to date.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and running smoothly using daily checklists.

Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative - DREAM SCHEDULE, NO EVENINGS, NO WEEKENDS!

Veterinary Surgical Centers | Gaithersburg, MD

Full-time | Monday through Thursday, 8am to 6pm | No weekends

Pay: $23 to $25 per hour based on skills and experience
