Job summary

VetnCare is seeking a friendly veterinary receptionist to serve clients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle check-ins/outs with care. You’ll support doctors and technicians and help maintain accurate records in a fast-paced hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and scheduling.
  • Manage client check-in/check-out and collect patient info and payments.
  • Room patients and obtain medical histories as needed.
  • Support doctors and technicians with patient care and routine procedures.
  • Assist with vaccine appointments and basic patient handling.
  • Aid with diagnostics, sample collection, and in-house lab work when needed.
  • Maintain medical records and client documentation accurately.
  • Provide clear client education on treatments, estimates, and discharges.
  • Assist with appointment reminders and daily workflow management.
  • Support variable caseload based on seasonal needs.

Key Responsibilities

About You
  • Previous experience in veterinary medicine preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect warmly with clients and confidently de-escalate challenging situations.
  • Dependable, proactive, and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
