Client Service Coordinator – Employee Benefits
Location: Hybrid - Ft. Collins, CO
At Alera Group, our Employee Benefits team helps employers design, implement, and support programs that care for people and strengthen organizations. We’re seeking a Client Service Coordinator who will provide direct support in client relations and day-to-day service requests, ensuring a seamless client experience and operational accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES
What You’ll Do / Your Impact
Client Partnership & Service Excellence
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client service inquiries
- Respond to questions related to billing, claims, eligibility, enrollment, coverage, and carrier processes
- Assist clients with Medicare, Affordable Care Act, and supplemental insurance service needs
- Support new client onboarding and ongoing service activities
- Coordinate resolution of client issues with carriers, providers, and internal teams
- Ensure timely follow-up and communication with clients regarding service requests
- Collaborate with producers, leadership, carriers, and internal support teams to deliver a positive client experience
Operational & Compliance Excellence
- Maintain accurate client files, records, and documentation within agency systems
- Update and manage client information within CRM and carrier platforms
- Track service requests and ensure timely resolution
- Prepare reports, client correspondence, enrollment materials, and other administrative materials as needed
- Follow established compliance, privacy, and documentation standards
- Maintain knowledge of carrier requirements and enrollment procedures
- Monitor enrollment status and follow up on outstanding items to ensure completion
Growth & Retention
- Support annual enrollment period, open enrollment period, and ACA renewal activities
- Support preparation and distribution of enrollment materials and client communications
- Contribute to client satisfaction through responsive, accurate, and proactive service
- Support retention of existing clients through strong follow-through and issue resolution
- Participate in team initiatives, projects, and process improvement efforts
- Share knowledge and best practices to improve service consistency and efficiency
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS
What You Bring
Required
- Active Life and Health license or ability to obtain
- Ability to obtain and maintain Medicare carrier certifications
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Demonstrated commitment to providing an exceptional client experience
Preferred
- 1-3 years of customer service, administrative support, healthcare, insurance, or related experience
- Medicare and/or ACA marketplace experience
- Experience supporting enrollments, renewals, client records, and carrier coordination
- Experience working with CRM systems and carrier platforms
- Familiarity with billing, claims, eligibility, coverage, and enrollment processes

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Compensation: Salary range: $45,000 – $50,000 per year

Licensure & Certifications
- Active State Life & Health License OR
