Job summary

HairClub is seeking a proactive front desk receptionist to warmly greet clients, answer calls, and manage scheduling for our Maryland location. You will handle client transactions, support the styling team, and maintain organized service flow in a fast-paced environment.

A friendly, professional demeanor and reliable reliability are essential. Ideal candidates bring 1+ year of guest service experience, familiarity with POS systems, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of high-paced guest service experience.
• POS system or business software experience.
• Communicate professionally and timely with all people in the company.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work under time constraints and pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet all clients and visitors promptly with a positive attitude.
• Answer calls professionally and direct to appropriate staff with minimal disruption.
• Accurately enter client transactions with correct service/product codes.
• Manage scheduling: bookings, wait times, reminders, and confirmations.
• Support styling team with scheduling, documentation, and basic sales and admin tasks.

Major Responsibilities

• Greets all clients & visitors, promptly with a smile, portrays a positive attitude, and assist with all reasonable requests
• Answers incoming calls promptly and professionally, provides accurate and appropriate information and directs calls to other staff members while minimizing impact on present clients
• Accurately enters all client transactions by selecting the correct performers, service/product codes, and tenders
• Actively manages scheduling activities including advance booking, wait times, optimize schedule, service accuracy, appointment ticket accuracy, and appointment confirmations
• Supports the styling team by assisting with scheduling, documentation, communicating appointment changes, retail/service add‐on sales, and various administrative duties
