Job summary

California Bank & Trust in San Francisco is seeking a Client Service Associate (Teller) to deliver friendly, accurate banking service at the San Francisco Main branch. You will process transactions, open or update accounts, and help customers meet their financial goals.

You will identify cross-sell opportunities, resolve customer issues, and may be reassigned within 30 miles as needed. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with comprehensive benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 6+ months cashiering or customer service experience.
• Solid balancing and customer service skills; math basics.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Process debit and credit transactions and maintain an accurate balancing record.
• Address client needs by offering banking services (new accounts, updates, transfers, etc).
• Resolve client problems directly or via referrals to other branches/resources.
• Identify and act on cross-sell opportunities with clients.
• May be reassigned to an alternate branch within 30 miles with notice.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a Client Service Associate (Teller) to provide top-notch customer service to our clients and customers at our San Francisco Main, CA branch. Essential Functions:

• Responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identifies and addresses clients’ needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve clients’ problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identifies and maximizes cross-sell bank opportunities through exploring needs.
• You may be reassigned to an alternate branch location depending on business needs within a reasonable distance (30 miles of branch location) and given proper notice.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ months cashiering, customer service, sales, balancing, or other related experience.
• Working knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking.
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients needs.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $22 - $30 hourly depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
