Job summary

LPL Financial LLC is seeking a Client Service Associate to support financial advisors and ensure an exceptional client experience in-office. You will handle administrative tasks, client relationships, and operational support within the branch.

The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and professional client-facing communication. Licensing (Series 7/66) and a financial services background are preferred; Monday–Friday in-office schedule.

  • Prior customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM applications
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses (preferred)
  • Financial services background preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Coordinate advisor calendars, schedule client meetings, prepare meeting materials, and manage follow-up communications.
  • Process and maintain client account requests including new accounts, transfers, beneficiary changes, address updates, RMDs, and account maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate client records within the CRM system while ensuring compliance with FINRA/SEC regulations and confidentiality requirements.
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute client correspondence, reports, and other operational documentation.
  • Partner with custodians and financial institutions to facilitate transactions and resolve account issues.

Job Overview

The Client Service Associate plays a crucial role in supporting financial advisors and ensuring an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a professional and client focused approach.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and support via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Coordinate advisor calendars, schedule client meetings, prepare meeting materials, and manage follow-up communications.
  • Process and maintain client account requests including new accounts, transfers, beneficiary changes, address updates, RMDs, and account maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate client records within the CRM system while ensuring compliance with firm, FINRA, and SEC regulations and confidentiality requirements.
  • Prepare, proofread, and distribute client correspondence, reports, presentations, and other operational documentation.
  • Partner with custodians and financial institutions to facilitate transactions, resolve account issues, and ensure accuracy across client accounts.
  • Support office operations and client engagement initiatives, including mail processing, office administration, client events, educational seminars, newsletters, and social media communications.

Requirements
  • In-office role M-F
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; CRM applications
  • Preferences: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses
  • Financial services background preferred
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective oral and written communication; able to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with clients, coworkers, and internal/external partners
  • Ability to analyze and research information
  • Plenty of drive, initiative, and motivation

Pay Range

Pay Range: $23.52-$39.17/hour. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
