Job summary

Springborn Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented administrative professional to support wealth management teams in Portland, ME. You will assist advisors and portfolio managers with daily client service tasks, respond to routine requests, and help maintain client records.

You will also prepare and gather documentation for account openings, coordinate with custodians, and support on-boarding and reporting activities under guidance from senior staff.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1-4 years of professional experience in wealth management, financial services, banking, insurance, accounting, or other client-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and client-service support to advisors and portfolio managers.
• Respond to routine client requests involving cash transfers, deposits, withdrawals, gifting, statements, tax documents, and account information.
• Prepare account-opening and maintenance paperwork, gather documentation, and follow up on outstanding items.
• Work with custodians and financial institutions to process requests and resolve routine service issues.
• Maintain accurate client records and assist with new-client onboarding, meeting preparation, reports, and follow-up.
• Support IRA distributions, Required Minimum Distributions, charitable gifts, and other transactions with guidance from experienced team members.
