Job summary

Edelman Financial Engines is seeking a Client Services professional to partner with a Financial Planner, delivering a high level of service to our clients. You will coordinate client meetings, prepare paperwork, and support ongoing client interactions to ensure accuracy and timely follow-up.

Responsibilities include supervising client account activity, researching and resolving issues, and aiding with company-wide initiatives while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience (Registered Investment Advisor or Broker/Dealer) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Good understanding of finance and investment markets/securities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client meetings, including greeting clients, appointment preparation, and supporting the completion of required paperwork.
• Supervise client account activity, researching and resolving issues.
• Prepare and review all new account paperwork to ensure documents are complete and in good order.
• Verify accounts are traded into the correct model and aid operation teams as needed; supervise incoming rollovers, other investment funding, and transfers to ensure all applicable accounts are moved.
• Document key client achievements and other relevant data into systems to assist in future client interactions.
• Maintain risk awareness and compliance; identify problems in a timely manner while aligning with standard resolution policy, the established corporate process, and regulatory procedures.
• Support the firm’s initiatives, assist with any company‑wide projects and activities, and attend functions as needed.
• Participate in projects, task forces, councils, and product rollouts to ensure the client service voice is represented.

Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $50-65,000. Final base pay will be determined based on responsibilities, skills, experience, location, and market conditions. The role may also be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, dental, and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
