Echo Global Logistics is offering a 10-week paid internship in Detroit, designed to train future sales professionals in the fast-growing 3PL space. You'll work on real-world projects, learn from logistics legends, and be paired with a mentor within the Sales team.

You'll gain hands-on experience building client relationships, presenting Echo's services, and collaborating across departments to ensure top-notch customer service on every shipment.

The Echo Trailblazers internship gives you the confidence, community, and communication skills needed to forge a new path. As a member of the Echo Global Logistics team, you'll work on real-world projects, learn from logistics legends, and work toward a common goal: simplifying transportation for our clients and carriers. You will be on the road to success as an Echo Trailblazer! Spend your summer learning all the ins and outs of a sales team! After your training, you will be partnered with a mentor within our Sales team. You will spend the summer learning both the logistics industry and the full process of becoming a rock star sales rep!

Client Sales Responsibilities & Job Duties

• Build, maintain and manage account relationships
• Profile and analyze accounts to overcome any objections and generate quality opportunities
• Present the value of Echo's services to prospective and existing clients
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure world class customer service on every shipment
• Work in conjunction with teammates to prioritize and service customers in a timely fashion
• Monitor progress of shipments to ensure coverage, on-time performance and the resolution of any mid-transit issues

Requirements

• Must be able to start May 24th, 2027 and complete the entire 10 week program
• Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship
• Able to work in our Detroit office 4 days and hybrid 1 day a week
• No major or GPA requirements
