Position Type: Full-time with the exception of first 2-4 weeks of training, 20-25 hours weekly; then 40 hours per week.
Compensation:
$24/hr while training; $49,920 salary upon full time hours

Client Representative
A client representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients by serving as their primary liaison for all bookkeeping and tax-related services. This role involves onboarding and meeting with clients to assess their financial records, coordinate the preparation and delivery of financial statements and tax returns, and communicate client needs to internal accounting teams. The client representative ensures that client expectations are clearly understood, properly managed, and fully met, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements or additional services.
Client Representative Responsibilities
Meet regularly with clients to review their bookkeeping and tax needs.
Serve as the main contact for assigned clients, ensuring their bookkeeping needs are clearly understood and met.
Coordinate with internal accountants, bookkeepers, and tax professionals to ensure timely delivery of services.
Monitor deadlines for monthly reporting and annual tax returns.
Assist clients with implementation of advised tax strategies.
Review financial records for completeness and flag issues to relevant team members.
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients via email, phone, and meetings.
Serve as a liaison to resolve client inquiries, concerns, or document requests.
Maintain up-to-date records in CRM or project management tools.
Assist with Corvee and Asana
Identify and suggest opportunities for clients to streamline bookkeeping or improve financial processes.
Accountable for the bookkeeping process and books up to date for tax strategist meetings.
Work with a tax strategist.
Understand tax strategy folder.
Assist clients with QuickBooks Online setup, training, and troubleshooting
Ability to help understand and clean up client accounts during onboarding
Assist enrolling clients and setting up bank accounts
Ability to navigate complex technical issues & assist with tech related needs during enrollment of new clients
Collaborating with Senior Management
Participate in regular meetings with senior management (e.g., Bookkeeping Manager or CAO) to review financial performance, provide updates, and discuss key financial issues or concerns.
Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial information.
Core Bookkeeper Responsibilities
Review P&L and Balance Sheet statements, identify errors, trace discrepancies to their source, and make the necessary corrections.
Review monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements, and make corrections or delegate them to the Junior Bookkeeper for correction.
Reading and interpreting the client Proforma.
Match deposits or payments.
Manage 1099 reporting and compliance requirements
Communicate with clients in CRM
Train Junior Bookkeeper(s) on your clients' books.
Provide regular feedback to Junior Bookkeepers, helping them to improve and grow in their roles.
Record and categorize financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
Assist in reconciling bank statements and credit card statements.
Run AMA reports and provide to clients for review; update in QB when client completes
Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements.
Communicate with clients and update information in ASANA.
Perform data entry tasks related to financial records.
Maintain accurate records and timely processing of invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial documentation.
Help maintain filing systems for financial records, ensuring they are organized and easy to access.
Support the bookkeeping team with various bookkeeping duties as needed.
Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial information.
Handle other administrative and bookkeeping tasks as assigned.
Update the client timesheet to track time spent on each client accurately.
Update and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track performance and efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of current QB experience
Real estate accounting (WIP/Projects)
Proven accounting and bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of journal entries
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
Proficiency in English
Proficiency in MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate complex data in a clear way
Exceptional organizational skills
Ability to prioritize projects
Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information
Proven ability working in a CRM
Ability to work across multiple software & communication platforms
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Previous experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
