Job summary

CLA is seeking a Client Relationship Leader for our growing CAAS practice in Tennessee. You will expand existing client relationships, develop new connections in the community, and drive revenue growth with senior executives.

As part of the Outsourcing Client Service Team, you will project manage ongoing engagements, present to clients, and implement a sales strategy for targeted accounts while maintaining CRM targets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in public accounting or related industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field required.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Client services delivery orientation and ability to develop business.
• Interpersonal skills to gain confidence of senior executives and team members.

Responsibilities

• Expand existing client relationships and develop new ones in the community.
• Collaborate with Managing Principal and Outsourcing Client Service Team to drive business.
• Identify opportunities, solve problems, and close business at targeted accounts.
• Implement a sales strategy for new prospects and present to clients at events.

About the role:

CLA is looking to hire a Client Relationship Leader for our growing CAAS practice in Tennessee. CAAS provides customized accounting support on an interim and project basis for our clients - public, private and nonprofits ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. We are looking for someone who has the drive of a business owner, entrepreneurial spirit, and the desire to make a difference for our clients.

As a Client Relationship Leader, you will:

• Expand existing client relationships as well as build your network to develop new relationships in the community.

• Work closely with the Managing Principal and Outsourcing Client Service Team to drive business and service offerings.

• Recognize opportunities, problem solve and close business, especially at strategically targeted accounts.

• Implement a sales strategy for new account prospects, prepare client presentations, and attend local and regional networking events representing CLA.

• Effectively project manage ongoing engagements to meet client needs.

• Maintain business development targets and sales activities in CRM.

What you will need:

• A minimum of 10 years of work experience, including Big Four Audit Manager or other public accounting as well as industry experience.

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required.

• CPA certification is preferred but not required.

• A client services delivery orientation, relationship building experience, and drive to participate in business development initiatives.

• Exceptional interpersonal and the ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives and team members.
