Job summary

EP Wealth Advisors is seeking a Client Relationship Associate in Torrance, CA to partner with wealth advisory, financial planning, and internal teams. You will be the primary contact for client inquiries about account maintenance, cash management, and reporting, ensuring timely responses and high service levels.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in financial services, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Tamarac

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a concentration in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent related experience.
  • Ideal candidates will have 1-3 year's experience working in investment advisory, asset management or a financial services company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with Tamarac Advisor View, CRM, eMoney, and custodian websites (Schwab, Fidelity) is valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain existing client relationships as primary contact for account maintenance, cash management, distributions, and investment reporting
  • Collaborate with wealth advisor, financial planner, and internal departments to ensure client requests are executed within defined service levels
  • Research and resolve client issues leveraging internal resources or escalation to management
  • Manage client meeting scheduling and preparation; participate in client meetings, events and seminars
  • Prepare client account paperwork including internal agreements, custodian forms, applications, and other deliverables
  • Coordinate new client onboarding activities including documentation collection, portal setup, welcome calls, and proactive communication
  • Adhere to company policies and ensure client activities are handled to firm standards
  • Document client interactions and meetings in CRM timely and accurately
  • Develop and maintain relationships with custodian partners, vendors, and service providers
  • Participate in team projects and training; perform office administrative duties as needed

Summary

The Client Relationship Associate (CRA) will partner with our wealth advisory, financial planning, and internal support teams contributing to the satisfaction, retention and growth of client relationships. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of delivering excellent client service, with exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

$21.63 - $31.25 an hour

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain existing client relationships as primary point of contact for inquires related to account maintenance, cash management, distributions, and investment reporting
  • Collaborate with wealth advisor, financial planner, and internal departments (operations, investments, billing, etc.) to ensure client requests are executed within defined service level agreements
  • Research and resolve client issues leveraging internal support resources and/or escalating as appropriate to management
  • Manage client meeting scheduling, preparation and participate as needed in client meetings, events and seminars
  • Prepare client account paperwork including internal agreements, custodian forms, applications, and other client deliverables for processing
  • Coordinate new client onboarding activities including the collection of required documentation, partnering with internal operations teams on process execution, client portal setup, welcome calls and proactive communication with clients
  • Understand and adhere to outlined company policies and procedures to ensure client activities are handled with firm standards
  • Track and document client interactions, activities and meetings in CRM, ensuring notes are input in a timely and compliant manner
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with custodian partners, vendors, client professional contacts and service providers
  • Participate in team projects, business initiatives and engage in training and education opportunities as required
  • Office administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a concentration in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent related experience.
  • Ideal candidates will have 1-3 year's experience working in investment advisory, asset management or a financial services company
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects and team members across the organization
  • Strong organization and attention to detail are essential with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with Tamarac Advisor View, CRM, eMoney, and custodian websites (Schwab, Fidelity) is valuable
