Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Client Partner to scale the Manufacturing portfolio in the TOLA region (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas), preferably in Houston or Dallas with a hybrid schedule. You will drive growth across accounts, oversee delivery programs, and lead campaigns with senior leadership involvement.

Responsibilities include managing profitability and utilization, expanding offerings, and guiding governance across engagements while building relationships with CXOs and industry leaders.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of manufacturing industry experience, preferably in consulting.
  • Ability to build a $5M+ manufacturing-related book of business with growth targets.
  • Ability to create and draft thorough account plans.
  • Strong relationships with manufacturing clients in the region.
  • Experience building relationships with CXOs and senior decision makers.
  • Experience in business operations with data-driven insights and budget/project management.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the Manufacturing portfolio in the TOLA region and drive profitability and utilization.
  • Identify opportunities for growth of Slalom offerings and set direction for that growth.
  • Ensure project quality, staffing, and utilization oversight across engagements.
  • Provide governance of all sold/managed engagements.
  • Lead business development with SOW/RFPs and subject-matter expertise to win engagements.
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and Slalom capabilities.
  • Partner with clients to influence strategic direction and business objectives.

Slalom TOLA (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas) is seeking a Houston or Dallas-based Client Partner to scale manufacturing accounts across the region. We are seeking individuals at the Director and Sr. Principal level, preferably residing in Houston or Dallas with a hybrid in-office schedule.

This individual will be driving the overall growth of our Manufacturing business through a combination of business development, oversight of accounts, delivery of projects, and thought leadership/campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for adynamic leader with a history of driving growth, expanding teams, and elevating industry solutions.

What You’ll Do

As a Client Partner in our Manufacturing Portfolio, you will serve as a key driver of portfolio growth within our TOLA market. Our Client Partners play a crucial role in nurturing relationships within and across our Manufacturing accounts, as well as managing the successful outcomes of ongoing Delivery Programs. Other aspects of the role include:

  • Managing the profitability / growth of assigned accounts within our Manufacturing portfolio (revenue & utilization goals)
  • Identifying opportunities for growth/maturation of Slalom offerings and setting the direction for that growth.
  • Accountability for project quality, including delivery of work, staffing teams and monitoring utilization.
  • Providing oversight and governance of all sold/managed engagements
  • Driving business development efforts with the proper information (creation of SOW, RFP responses), tools and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within the vertical.
  • Maintaining awareness of industry best practices and understanding how Slalom capabilities interact.
  • Partnering with your client(s) to influence strategic direction and identify ways Slalom can help them achieve business objectives.
What You’ll Bring
  • 8+ years of relevant experience working with the manufacturing industry, preferably in a management consulting firm.
  • The ability to build a sustainable $5M+ manufacturing-related book of business with a proven ability to achieve/exceed sales targets
  • The ability to create and draft a thorough account plan, understanding where Slalom’s solutions can solve clients’ problems
  • Strong relationships with manufacturing clients in the region
  • Experienced in building relationships with CXOs and senior business decision makers
  • Experience in business operations with an ability to drive insights through data along with budget and project management experience

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary range for Senior Principal level is $160 - $190K and Director level is $190K - $225K. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
