Job summary

Private Investment Fund, based in NYC, is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join the Client Partners Team. The role focuses on driving product marketing plans, end-to-end strategy, and updating the firm’s marketing agenda for new client development.

Ideal candidates will have fund marketing experience, investment industry knowledge, and strong communications. Investment Banking background is strongly encouraged for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years in Private Equity/Investor Relations or similar in financial services.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Salesforce and Excel.
• Superior modeling/transaction experience is required.
• Technical knowledge and data analytics using CRMs (Salesforce) and presenting with PowerPoint.
• Outstanding communication skills and ability to work with all management levels.
• Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with North American client sales & marketing efforts, investor servicing and client relations.
• Prepare client presentations, press releases, and materials for investor meetings and earnings calls.
• Prepare board-level presentations and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to capital raising and enhance investor experience.
• Research market color regarding potential investment opportunities.
• Create marketing materials and pitch books for investment opportunities.
• Collaborate across regions to develop marketing material for internal and external use.
• Ensure portfolio data integrity across marketing channels.

Our client is a prominent, well-respected NYC based Private Investment Fund currently seeking to add an Investor Relations Associate to their growing Client Partners Team.

This individual will be responsible for driving product marketing plans, running end to end business strategy and updating firms marketing agenda with regards to new client development. Ideal individual should be well versed with fund marketing, client development, product messaging and alternative investments.

Investment Banking experience strongly encouraged

Responsibilities

• Assist with North American client sales & marketing, efforts, investor servicing and client relations and for firm
• Prepare client presentations, press releases, and other materials for investor meetings, conferences, and earnings calls.
• Prepare board-level presentations and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• This role will be responsible for enhancing the firm’s efforts around capital raising and investor experience
• Research and provide market color with respect to potential investment opportunities
• Create marketing materials & pitch books with regards to firms investment opportunities
• Collaborate with teams across all regions to develop meaningful marketing material such as, sales pitchbooks, strategy books, client reviews, conference presentations and educational materials for both internally and externally use.
• Work with all levels of team members across the organization to help ensure the integrity and consistency of portfolio data reported across all marketing channels
• Identifying opportunities to enhance the strategic vision by gathering and analyzing field feedback and collaborating with partners across the organization
• Provide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2+ years of directly Private Equity/Investor Relations/or similar within Financial Services/Private Equity Alternative Asset Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Salesforce and Excel (
