Base pay range
$125,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr
Our client is a prominent, well-respected NYC based Alternative Asset Manager (Private Equity) currently seeking to add a Fund Raising/Investor Relations Associate to their growing Client Partners Team.
This individual will be responsible for driving product marketing plans, running end to end business strategy and updating the firm’s marketing agenda with regards to new client development. Ideal individual should be well versed with fund marketing, client development, product messaging and alternative investments.
Investment Banking experience strongly encouraged
Responsibilities
- Assist with North American client sales & marketing, efforts, investor servicing and client relations for firm
- This role will be responsible for enhancing the firm’s efforts around capital raising and investor experience
- Research and provide market color with respect to potential investment opportunities
- Create marketing materials & pitch books with regards to firm’s investment opportunities
- Construct pitch-books & preliminary models for prospecting clients and marketing potential trades
- Create Due Diligence presentations to outline potential investment opportunities
- Collaborate with teams across all regions to develop meaningful marketing material such as, sales pitchbooks, strategy books, client reviews, conference presentations and educational materials for both internally and externally use.
- Work with all levels of team members across the organization to help ensure the integrity and consistency of portfolio data reported across all marketing channels
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the strategic vision by gathering and analyzing field feedback and collaborating with partners across the organization
- Provide various ad hoc data research and analysis as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2+ years of directly Private Equity/Investor Relations/or similar within Financial Services/Private Equity Alternative Asset Management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Salesforce and Excel (
- Superior Modeling /Transaction Experience Required
- Technical knowledge, data analytics using CRMs (Salesforce), and presenting using PowerPoint
- Outstanding communication skills, proven ability to effectively work with all levels of Management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven dynamic environment
