Job description

Two Chairs is building a new kind of mental health system based on the idea that the status quo isn’t good enough. Industry-best clinician experiences, better client outcomes, groundbreaking innovation, and access to the highest quality care are how we’ll raise the bar for the entire industry. With that, we're excited and honored to have been recognized as a 2025 Great Place to Work and 2025 Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare.

One of our company values is "Embrace Differences" and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are the principles guiding how we build our business and teams. We encourage interested candidates from all backgrounds to apply even if they don't think they meet some expectations of the role.

About the role

As a Client Outreach Specialist, you are the primary driver of our growth, acting as the bridge between individuals seeking help and the life-changing care we provide. This role is far more than coordination—you’ll be a trusted advisor and advocate, tasked with actively navigating clients through obstacles, addressing hesitation, and empowering them to say "yes" to treatment.

You will be responsible for proactively engaging prospective clients, ensuring that every interaction not only builds trust but directly contributes to establishing care. You’ll join a fast-paced environment where your work directly impacts our ability to get people into care. We are looking for someone who brings empathy, clarity, and dedication to every interaction.

Core Areas of Responsibility
  • Educate prospective clients on our enrollment process and address any areas of concern preventing booking
  • Actively manage outbound communications to guide prospective clients towards establishing care and scheduling their first session.
  • Persuade unengaged patients to establish care and schedule first appointment
  • Identify client needs and provide clear, accessible information to help them navigate the mental health landscape.
  • Improve health outcomes by driving clinical utilization and care compliance
  • Operational Excellence & Support
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Document client activity accurately and in a timely manner within our CRM and patient portal.
Impact and Success Indicators
Where you’ll make an impact in the first 90 days:
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Two Chairs care model and client journey.
  • Achieve proficiency in our client portal and CRM tools to manage client interactions independently.
  • Contribute to our enrollment and scheduling goals, ensuring clients are matched with their ideal provider efficiently.
  • Understand the key reasons people do not enter into care, and effectively address them as a means of ensuring progress
  • Consistently maintain high-quality and responsiveness standards in client communication.
We’re looking for someone with:
  • A deep passion for our mission to restore humanity to healthcare and expand access to exceptional mental health care.
  • A background in healthcare customer service or complex, fast-paced support environments.
  • Experience using CRM tools or patient portals to manage workflows and communications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex information for clients.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Dependability, adaptability, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
  • Ability to handle high-volume, dynamic workflows while maintaining empathy and attention to detail.

The offer range is dependent on qualifications and experience. New hires can reasonably expect an offer between $60,000 and $65,000.

Additional perks and benefits:
  • Paid time off, including nine paid holidays and an additional Winter Office Closure from Christmas Day (Observed) through New Year's Day
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) Retirement savings options
  • One‑time $200 Work from Home reimbursement
  • Annual $1,000 Productivity & Wellness Stipend to support your personal and professional goals
  • Annual $500 subsidized company contribution to your healthcare FSA or HSA
