Responsibilities

  • Provide broad-based administrative support to a high achieving wealth management team
  • Account opening and maintenance
  • Transferring assets and money movement
  • Completing investment subscription documents
  • Cash management and cash balance oversight
  • Assisting with client online access
  • Responding to account activity and statement inquiries
  • Handle operational aspects of client accounts including reporting on holdings and performance, posting daily cash activity, and entering trade instructions
  • Process new accounts and maintenance with approvals and documentation
  • Process client cashiering requests (money market redemptions, wires, checks, journals)
  • Review daily activity and reconcile transfers/trades across systems
  • Attend compliance and continuing education training sessions

Position

A Private Advisor team within our Rockefeller Global Family Office business unit is seeking a motivated individual to join its growing team as a Client Operations Associate. The Client Operations Associate will partner closely with Private Advisor team members and interact directly with high-net-worth clients, serving as a key contributor to the client service and operational excellence of the practice. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented and demonstrates exceptional communication, organization, time management, problem-solving skills, and initiative. The candidate should be passionate about building a long-term career in client service and operations and be motivated by the opportunity to grow within the organization, with a potential path to leadership opportunities, as well as the ability to financially benefit from growth of the practice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide broad-based administrative support to a high achieving, growth-focused wealth management team.
  • Account opening and maintenance
  • Transferring assets and money movement
  • Completing investment subscription documents
  • Cash management and cash balance oversight
  • Assisting with client online access
  • Responding to account activity and statement inquiries
  • Handle operational aspects of client accounts including reporting on account holdings and investment performance, posting daily cash activity, and entering trade instructions
  • Process new accounts and account maintenance, by obtaining all necessary approvals and ensuring all clientdocumentation is returned, completed and approved
  • Process all client cashiering requests (money market redemptions, wires, checks, journals, check deposits, etc.)
  • Review dailyactivity and reconcile current client activity, funds transfers and previous day’s activity and trades against various clearing firm systems to ensure accuracy
  • Attend compliance and continuing education training sessions as required by regulatory agencies and the firm
  • Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 2-5+ years prior client service experience within financial industry, or equivalent experience, preferred
  • Series 7 & 66 licenses are preferred but not required. Candidates will have the opportunity to pursue and obtain these licenses as part of their professional development after joining the firm.
  • BA/BS degree
Skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and client service skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workflow
  • Experience with high-net-worth clients or private wealth management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high intensity work environment as well as manage multiple tasks effectively withfrequent interruptions
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel & PowerPoint
