The Baldwin Group is seeking a Client Manager for Employee Benefits to service client benefit needs promptly, prepare presentations, claim reports and renewal details, and ready client data for marketing alternate coverages.

You will manage onboarding, renewals, 5500 filings, plan documentation, enrollment meetings, and relationships with clients and insurance partners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client service calendar including onboarding, renewals, compliance alerts, 5500 filings, plan documentation (SPDs, SBCs, Wrap Documents, certificates of insurance, policies), and Open Enrollment preparation and execution.
  • Prepare and present executive summaries for clients, including claim experience, benchmarking, rate renewals and exhibits, plan design alternatives, contribution modeling, and renewal recommendations.
  • Manage all policy activity aspects of assigned accounts; present risks to the insurance marketplace for quoting as needed; communicate clear expectations to clients regularly and professionally.
  • Maintain high accuracy, timeliness and completeness when interacting with clients, the firm and insurance partners; demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Manage client inquiries and work with insurance partners/internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Conduct enrollment meetings with prepared collateral.
  • Review existing programs to determine if additional lines of insurance should be added; solicit marketplace proposals to meet client needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and insurance company partners.
  • Know the requirements and attributes of insurance company partners; maintain in-depth knowledge of the company and website resources.
  • Look for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment and processes.
  • Escalate issues and discrepancies to appropriate leadership.
