What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage a client book of business for groups with less than 100 enrolled lives, focusing on relationship development with brokers and clients
- Communicate renewals, alternative plan options, and quotes effectively to clients and brokers
- Identify and pursue add-issue opportunities using Salesforce Reports in collaboration with Sales Representatives
- Negotiate renewal rate relief and generate plan alternative options for clients
- Serve as a subject matter expert on various insurance products and internal systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a sales environment
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in mathematical concepts
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships at all levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of group insurance products, contracts, and services
- Familiarity with group insurance underwriting principles and financing methodologies
- Experience using Salesforce and various office software applications
