Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Corporate Trust Relationship Manager to lead and grow strategic client relationships. You will partner with business development officers to identify opportunities, manage client value across the relationship lifecycle, and review new client relationships according to policy to ensure compliant, high-quality service aligned with client needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Corporate Trust clients alongside business development officers
  • Manage the value of client relationships for the organization
  • Review and accept new client relationships according to business line account acceptance policies and procedures
  • Provide quality service aligned with client needs, wants, and expectations
  • Resolve client problems quickly and effectively
  • Collaborate with new business development staff on new business conversations with existing or prospective clients
  • Identify business risks and operational challenges
  • Mitigate risk and enhance operating systems and processes
  • Coordinate development and implementation of operational changes within the unit
  • Meet certain revenue, new business, and expense goals as applicable
  • Manage staff, hire new staff, and/or train staff as needed

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically eight or more years of relevant experience
  • Thorough knowledge of corporate trust and investment instruments
  • Thorough knowledge of account management, trust operations, project management, and legal regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of the applicable trust line of business, its products, processes, and related bank and regulatory regulations
  • Ability to develop new business
  • Effective management skills including planning, budgeting, and people management
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
  • Ability to communicate quickly with clients to resolve client issues and disputes
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Certain positions may be subject to FINRA, NMLS registration, Reg Z, Reg G, OFAC, NFA, FCPA, Bank Secrecy Act, SAFE Act, and other applicable requirements
