Job summary

AMS Staffing, Inc. represents a mid-size law firm in Houston, Texas, seeking an experienced Client Development Manager to deepen client relationships, support attorney business development, and contribute to growth.

This hands-on, relationship-driven role works with firm leadership to identify opportunities, develop practical strategies, coach attorneys, and manage CRM data, with onsite work for six months followed by one day WFH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, administration, communications, or related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in business development, client relations, marketing, or communications within a law firm.
• Demonstrated experience working with attorneys and leadership on growth initiatives.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and project-management skills.
• Ability to think strategically while working hands-on in a lean environment.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and marketing tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with firm clients and key contacts.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships and develop new business with practical strategies.
• Coach attorneys in client development, networking, relationship building, and follow-up.
• Help ensure meaningful client and prospect interactions are followed by timely next steps.
• Identify cross-practice collaboration opportunities and introductions among clients and attorneys.
• Support client outreach, feedback, and CRM data maintenance.
• Maintain awareness of firm successes and opportunities for outreach.
