Job summary

First Interstate Bank in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Teller to handle daily teller transactions in both the lobby and drive-up, delivering outstanding client service and building enduring client relationships.

You will process deposits and loan payments, cash checks, record transactions and currency, and use 360View to document activities and referrals. Strong math, discretion, and communication are essential; training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong math skills.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, loan payments, checks, and other teller transactions.
• Answer client questions in person or by phone.
• Record and reconcile cash drawer; manage currency as needed.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and refer clients to bankers.
• Use 360View to document activities and referrals.
• Provide exceptional client service and maintain client relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
