Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a client-focused financial advisor to help clients reach their financial goals through customized planning and brokerage services. You will review goals, build financial plans, and recommend appropriate investment and banking solutions while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong client engagement.

The role requires applicable licenses, a track record in investments or financial services, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on service

Qualifications

• Series 7 and 66 licenses currently held (or the equivalent 63/65 in lieu)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the investments industry with training and knowledge of investment products/services
• Minimum 1 year in financial services and/or sales environment with goal attainment
• Sets and achieves goals; builds and nurtures strong relationships
• Communicates effectively with clients; collaborates to get things done
• Willing to work Monday–Friday and rotating Saturdays (as required)

Responsibilities

• Works with clients to plan short- and long-term financial goals by building a financial plan with brokerage products (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities) and banking solutions
• Recommends banking and investments strategies aligned with client goals
• Triages client requests and refers to internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds
• Mitigates and controls risk as part of daily activities
• Identifies new clients through referrals or branch clientele; coaches referral partners
