This full-time Accountant role involves local travel in the Chicagoland area to support clients and the Naperville office, offering a comprehensive benefits package and 4 weeks of PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or actively pursuing license preferred.
• 1–3 years of general accounting experience required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger entries.
• Accounts payable/receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Assist with preparing financial statements.
• Prepare government-required reports.
• Advise clients on internal accounting matters.
• Payroll processing.
• Compliance reporting.
• Daily client interactions by phone or e-mail.
