Job summary

Verisk is seeking a customer-focused Business Analyst in Jersey City to support clients and internal teams with data-related tasks, reporting, and integrations. You will troubleshoot issues, maintain data quality, and contribute to effective client service.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of related experience, a strong customer service mindset, and solid Excel skills. You will grow with a global leader, learning Verisk products, processes, and AVP benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in customer service, technical support, client support, business analysis, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong customer service mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working independently with guidance while collaborating across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience in P&C insurance is a plus.
• Exposure to XML, SQL, web services, APIs, or networking concepts is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients by assisting with data feeds and helping ensure reliable performance.
• Investigate and resolve routine connectivity, data, and technical issues, escalating more complex issues when appropriate.
• Respond to client questions related to reporting, data responses, and record maintenance.
• Perform data quality reviews to identify errors and opportunities to improve reporting accuracy.
• Partner with internal business and technical teams to resolve client issues.
• Document issues, solutions, and processes to improve team knowledge.
• Learn ClaimSearch products, processes, and technologies while building technical expertise.
• Contribute to team initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
