Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience (4 years).
• Three years of accounting experience serving clients/small businesses preferred.
• QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Hold needs analysis meetings with prospective clients.
• Deliver proposals and service agreements to new clients.
• Onboard new clients to the department and set up QuickBooks access.
• Maintain electronic records of business transactions for clients using QuickBooks Online.
• Process bills and payments for accounting clients.
• Prepare Sales & Use Tax filings for clients.
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards for clients.
• Review data entries and coach junior members.
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial statements.
• Assist with bookkeeping policies and procedures.
• Assist clients with problem resolution and tax preparation materials.
• Crosstrain on payroll processing as backup.
• Stay current with accounting laws and regulations.
