Job summary

Citi in Pasadena, CA is seeking an entry-level Personal Banker to support sales, products and service activities in cooperation with the customer service team. The goal is to build loyalty and increase sales to individual consumer clients.

You will work to develop referral opportunities, assist in strategies to grow the small business client base, and deliver excellent client experiences through cross-selling of relevant financial products while ensuring compliance with Citi policies.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests under $250K and refer larger opportunities.
• Build referral business through COIs and MGM program.
• Grow small business client and implement sales plans.
• Deliver client services via outbound/inbound calls to deepen relationships.
• Coach branch staff on products and program referrals.
