Job summary

Foresite is seeking a Security Automation Engineer to join our Professional Services team. In a client-facing role, you will build automation workflows and blocks for SOAR environments, deliver hands-on enablement, and help customers deploy our ecosystem.

You will work directly with external clients to design solutions, customize playbooks, and ensure successful adoption of automation across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in security engineering or security operations.
• Foundational Python scripting skills.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Experience using GitHub for version control of automation assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt Python scripts to build API integrations and automate actions within customer SOAR environments.
• Partner with customers to understand tools and pain points, and translate requirements into automated workflows, playbooks, and blocks.
• Manage playbooks, scripts, and assets using Git and GitHub with clean, documented practices.
