Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- 3 to 5+ years HVAC engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer inquiries to determine project scope and design solutions.
- Design custom HVAC systems for diverse facilities including offices, labs, manufacturing spaces, and warehouses.
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations, air distribution layout, boiler/chiller systems design, pump and piping design, and steam routing.
- Develop schematic designs and CAD drawings to support estimating.
- Prepare construction cost estimates and obtain vendor quotes.
- Draft technical proposal letters detailing scope and costs for clients.
- Coordinate construction drawings and state/local plan reviews.
- Support cross-functional teams with engineering expertise.
- Mentor junior design engineers and interns on Lean practices.
