Job summary

Long Finch Technologies is seeking a Senior GCP Data Engineering Lead in Paterson, NJ to drive large-scale data modernization and migration on Google Cloud Platform. You will own end-to-end GCP data pipelines, BigQuery analytics, and data validation across enterprise datasets.

You will partner with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and offshore delivery groups to ensure successful execution of data engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Hands-on with Google BigQuery and Cloud Composer (Airflow) in production environments.
• Strong SQL development, data modeling, and data warehousing understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of GCP-based data engineering solutions.
• Develop scalable data pipelines using Cloud Composer and Python.
• Build and manage data warehouses and analytics on BigQuery.
• Drive data migration projects from legacy systems to GCP while ensuring quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, QA, and offshore teams.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and mentor delivery teams.
• Support deployments, tuning, and operational excellence tasks.
