Job summary

Valis Advanced, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own the client-side tech experience from initial engagement through rollout and day-to-day support.

You will handle technical questions, security and compliance responses, and ensure smooth access provisioning and integration across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other critical systems. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in a technical, client-facing role, hands-on with integrations and data tooling, and daily experience using LLM

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical, client-facing role: solutions engineer, sales engineer, technical account manager, implementation or integration engineer.
• Hands-on with integrations: OAuth, service accounts, APIs, SSO, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 admin, and access control.
• Comfortable with data: SQL, a data warehouse, reading logs, writing small scripts (Python or TypeScript).
• Hands-on with LLM tools in daily work: Claude, Claude Code, MCP, agents.
• You can sit in a room with a client’s head of IT or security and answer precisely, including “we don’t have that yet”.
• You can explain a technical decision to a non-technical executive.
• You own a problem until it is closed, without being chased.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own client-facing deployment lifecycle from first call through rollout and ongoing support.
• Coordinate with security/compliance through trust materials and due diligence responses.
• Configure and test access, connectors, and service accounts; maintain documentation.
• Lead setup sessions, provide install guides, and verify tenant readiness.
• Convert common questions into FAQs and feed product roadmap.
