Job summary

Growth Operators is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead financial planning, analytics, and reporting for mid-size client engagements. You will partner with Growth Operators leadership to drive strategic initiatives and deliver high-quality advisory and outsourced services.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics while mentoring finance teams. This role requires heavy onsite presence in the Minneapolis-St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and accounting expertise.
• Advanced Excel skills for modeling and analysis.
• Experience with planning & analytics software (Cube/Workday/Planful/Anaplan).
• Experience with visual data platforms (Power BI/Tableau).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership ability and team mentoring.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Must spend substantial time in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul area for onsite client work.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic planning with senior management.
• Improve budgeting, planning, forecasting, analytics and reporting.
• Assess and implement efficiency improvements across people, processes and tech.
• Develop KPIs to measure financial health of the organization.
• Review performance vs. budget and model financial impact of decisions.
• Develop long-term financial strategies and objectives.
• Overhaul policies and procedures for sustained performance.
• Manage projects to deliver value to clients on time and within scope.
