Job summary

Growth Operators is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead client‑facing finance advisory work and oversee budgeting, planning, analytics, and reporting. You will collaborate with senior management, drive efficiencies, and mentor finance teams across mid‑size client engagements.

You will spend substantial time in the Greater Minneapolis‑St. Paul area for onsite client work, with opportunities to work remotely and from the Minneapolis office as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with planning/analytics tools and data visualisation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic planning and goal setting with senior management.
• Improve budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
• Recommend optimisations across people, processes and technology.
• Develop KPIs and models to assess financial health and decisions.
• Lead and mentor finance teams; manage client engagements and projects.
