Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking an enthusiastic Consulting Intern to join our Business Intelligence practice in Des Moines. You will work on client-facing engagements, build dashboards, and learn from experienced professionals while delivering practical BI solutions.

You'll develop SQL, data visualization, and reporting skills, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain exposure to a variety of industries. Great academic credentials and a proactive mindset are a plus.

Qualifications

• Working towards or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science/Analytics.
• Developing proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server Database Engine, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services.
• Ability to work with Data Visualization tools and dashboards for reporting and storytelling purposes.

Responsibilities

• Executing solution delivery engagements
• Discerning, defining, refining, and documenting client requirements
• Building reports, dashboards and scorecards using a variety of tools
• Providing ongoing support to existing clients
• Building out demonstration scenarios and prototypes
• Collaborating and working effectively with consultants in other regions and practices
